Restrict Refunds
Refunds can be set to
- Fully Restricted-No Refunds Allowed.
- Allow Overrides-Refunds allowed with administrative override
- No Restrictions-All refunds allowed.
The threshold should be set to the maximum amount a user can issue a refund without a supervisor’s approval.
Restrict Voids
Voids can be formed to
- Allow Overrides-Voids will be allowed with an administrative override.
- No Restrictions-All voids will be allowed.
The threshold should be the maximum amount a user can void a transaction without a supervisor’s approval.
Restrict Adjustments
Adjustments can be set to
- Allow Overrides - Payment adjustments will be allowed with an administrative override.
- No Restrictions - All adjustments will be allowed.
The threshold should be set to the maximum amount a user can adjust without a supervisor’s approval.
This does not apply to EMV transactions because EMVs should be voided and rerun since they are entirely reversed.
Restrict Forced AVS
A forced AVS is when the user can make a transaction go through without the proper AVS Match. The Restrict Forced AVS can be set to
- Allow Overrides-This means that an administrator can push a transaction through even if the AVS does not match.
- No restrictions-Transactions are allowed even if the AVS does not match.
The threshold should be set to the maximum amount a user can force without a supervisor’s approval.
Override Restrictions
These settings allow a non-supervisor to access select features in a non-supervisor mode.
Restrict History Override
If this box is checked, the user is restricted from doing a History Override in non-supervisor mode.
Restrict Settle Override
If this box is checked, the user is restricted from doing a Settlement Override in non-supervisor mode.
Restrict Detail Override
If the Restrict Detail Override box is checked, the user is restricted from doing a Transaction Detail Override in non-supervisor mode.
Restrict OTC Tkn Lookup
If the Restrict OTC Token Lookup box is checked, the user is restricted from doing a Token Lookup in non-supervisor mode.
MultiPay
If checked, the user is restricted from using the MultPay feature in non-supervisor mode.
MobilePay
If checked, the user is restricted from using the MobilePay feature in non-supervisor mode.
AutoBatch
IF checked, the user is restricted from using the AutoBatch feature in non-supervisor mode.
Over The Counter Restrictions
When checked, these restrictions affect Over the Counter Payments if a client is not in Administrative Mode.
OTC Payments
If checked, the user is restricted from taking over-the-counter payments.
OTC Assign
If checked, the user is restricted from assigning Over-the-counter payments to an Invoice.
OTC Refunds
When checked, the user can not refund over-the-counter payments.
OTC Voids
When checked, the user cannot void over-the-counter payments
OTC Clear
When checked, the user cannot clear over-the-counter payments.
