AVS Threshold feature
When you enable the AVS threshold, the Address Verification System is activated. The threshold should be set for the amount you want to automatically approve without getting an AVS match. After all, it may not be worthwhile holding up a $50 purchase just to save 25 cents.
AVS Required feature
Checking this box makes address verification mandatory. Any card-not-present payment above the amount specified here will need verified billing address information or a supervisor override.
AVS Retry Max
This box allows you to set the number of retries allowed if the Address Verification is incorrect. For instance, if this is set to 3, you get three attempts to correct the address. After that, the payment will either go through with a higher non-qualified fee or, if it's above the required amount, the payment will be canceled.
